Hey all 👋.

Quick question.

To apply for the DTV, do the funds in my bank account need to be converted to Thai baht first, or can I keep in the equivalent Canadian dollors

For folks who successfully got the DTV from applying in Vietnam. Was it crucial your 500k THB be in Thai Baht or can I have it in an equivalent currency? I have the equivalent right now in Canadian dollars and want to avoid the exchange rate fees if possible.

Thank you

Advice needed from Revolut bank account holders please.

I am trying to send payments via my Revolut Thai Baht account to a Krungthai bank account, but it won't accept the account number in the usual Thai format (###-#-#####-#) .

Any clues how to circumvent this ?

Advice rather than snide comments much appreciated in advance

TRANSFER OF THB FROM BANGKOK BANK to CHF of my Swiss Cantonal Bank ?

Hello Swiss expatriates!

I am thinking of transferring part of my THB from my Bangkok Bank account to my cantonal bank (Neuchâtel) in Switzerland in CHF. Are the exchange rate and fees on both sides correct? THANKS !

This is not another bank account question, but it is in a similar direction, I hope the admins allow it.

**How can a foreigner in Thailand, let's say on a DTV, convert crypto like Bitcoin to Thai baht cash?

**

To clarify - the crypto assets are not in a Thai exchange. The foreigner does not have a Thai ID card and doesn't have NDID either. Let's make it even harder for him, he doesn't even have a Thai bank account.

What are the options? Are there any with exchange rates close to reasonable?

Will opening a Thai bank account help in this situation?
