@Nongnuch *******
thanks for that explained very well, I have an Irish passport and I’m planning on retiring in the New Year and the Irish embassy still certifies pension incomes so I am now led to believe that all I will have to do is provide this affidavit from my embassy to immigration authorities showing a years bank statement with pension income above 65 k per month and with my with my non o 90 day then I will get my one year extension ?

visa exempt from uk,Eva air booked return flight 80 days later,they would not let me board until I purchased a flight out of Thailand within the 60 day of visa exempt validity,I told them I was going to extend to 90 days but still same answer,you must have a return or another booked flight out of Thailand before 60 days,my experience

I am led to believe if your embassy certified and verifies your pension income you do not need 800,000 in any case, is this true? it’s also what I’ve read on the handout from korat immigration , I went there earlier this year because I am planning on retiring to Thailand this Christmas and I hold an Irish passport which the appropriate embassy still certifies pension income.

if they (who is they) find out will you get deported?

I don’t think so because if one goes then everyone involved is in doghouse

This can’t possibly be a secret,everyone is aware from bottom to top
