Further question, please advise if the applicant uses this method of income or pension, does it need to have a verification letter from the embassy or consulate supporting the application of extension of stay? Thanks.

You can have a combination, provided however that your embassy in Thailand provides to you with the supporting letter to verify that this is your monthly income. Please ensure the first three months after granted the latest retirement visa, the deposited amount is remained at least 800k. So, you are qualified to have an extension.
