so after the first year I can draw out the 800,,000 as long as I’m inputting 65,000 each month from my pension? I was led to believe by friends that you always have to have at least 400,000 in on a non-0 retirement visa

maybe because you have 400,000 dead money to stay in a Thai bank account, I think that replaces the insurance requirement which you would draw on if have to go back to where ever you come from

have you never touched the 1 million in 17 years?I am making the move January next year,just in process of buying land in Pak thong chai,was going to do the 65 k pm way because I have a Irish passport and the embassy will confirm my pensions hope fully

Not rich enough cash wise for 800 k to sit in a Thai account but ok pension wise,thanks for any insight

Maybe if you have Visa exempt for 60 days and then extend it for 30 and then do a border Crossing and then come back two days later it looks like you may be abusing the system, if you intend on staying more than 90 days surely you should get the visa to fitin the first place
