BKK AIRPORT

I entered Thailand for the second time today with a DTV visa. I left Thailand on January 28 and returned today. The immigration officer at Bangkok Airport (BKK) asked me how many days I had left. After answering, I received a new entry stamp for six months. My friend, who is in the same situation, entered without any questions at a different immigration officer.

Hey guys, I’ll arrive Friday around 3pm in BKK airport. As travelling in Economy I won’t have access to the fast track immigration and I’m a little worried about the arrival situation.

Any recent experiences?

How much would be the cheapest fast track immigration? (Just some agency who picks up at the gate and brings me to the fast lane)

Received my DTV Dec 26 in Ha Noi, 5 business days, American Passport

Last night before dinner, I went to a local print shop I have driven by near my Airbnb.

Walked in and Google Translated that I wanted a laminated 4x5 Mini DTV Approval letter, and a printed DTAC arrival. I was able to Apple Airdrop him both the items.

4 minutes later I had my “DTV Passport sized Packet” cost me 20,000 dong.

At dinner I looked for a fast track service. As I just wanted an easy VIP experience and no waiting in super busy immigration lines of the New Year’s Eve rush at Bkk.

Saw a few ranging from 1700-3000+baht.

“My Tour Desk” I found an ad here on Facebook and it was cheaper than most I have seen. So I took a chance. 😜.

Clicked the link, Filled out my basic Info, added my Flight Number and arrival date, and pressed pay.

💵 1700 Baht

10 minutes later I was WhatsApp messaged from My Tour Desk letting me know a “Butler” would meet me at the end of my arrival gate, and could I send a selfie so the butler could recognize me. Easy, Sent

Left Hanoi this morning at 9:30. Arrived Back to BKK at 11:30.

Walked off the plane and up the gangway, I was met at my arrival gate by an awesome energetic Butler. Greeted me and said hello.

I Handed him my Passport Packet. He was mega impressed. 🤣 Said let’s go, follow Me.

We walked to a little bit father gate than the masses and was met by Immigration Guard. He looked at all my stuff briefly, said wow looks great.

He told me to proceed past him and walked around the corner to a private IO booth, with zero people in line, to a bored older IO,

I handed him all my items, I pressed my right hand to the finger print screen. Old guy barely looked upwards towards me.

Stamp Visa, DTV E Visa written in pen. Extra stamp with exit date of June 27th.

He Handed back my passport packet.

Khàawp khun khráp 🙏🏻

I walked around the corner to where I was greeted with my 3rd Butler.

He walked me over to the carousel, waited with me for 20 minutes to get my bag, chatted about life.

Bag finally came off the belt, he snags it and started

Wheeling it away with me in tow. He walked me to Bangkok Air Domestic Departure on the 4th level.

We went over to the Bangkok Air Elite line.

I Handed my passport, cellphone my digital boarding pass to the Agent, she slapped a baggage tag for Samui.

The Butler then walked me over to the Domestic departure Boarding pass area. High Fived Me, at my request and waits until I am past boarding pass Officer Checks.

Pretty seamless and amazing experience for my First DTV arrival stamp of my 5 Years being able to Live in the Kingdom.

Update on Bangkok Airport: we arrived last night with 2 brand-new DTV visas, and they let us through the security without asking a single question.

We had the DTV approval printed out, and we got the stamp for the 6 months 🎉🎉🎉

Of course it always depends on the officers, but we are really grateful that it was so easy for us!

Hi everyone!

My flight arrives at 11:30 PM. Does anyone know if there will be long lines at immigration? I've seen pictures of huge queues and I'm not sure if it's worth buying the fast track pass.

Thanks!

I have done the re-entry permit at the airport in Bangkok for the first time and it was smoothe and easy

I highly recommend you to do it at the airport. You don’t loose days queuing in classic immigration centres

TDAC requirements. I will be arriving at BKK for a transit. I will arrive, go to arrival immigration, turn around and go to departure passport check. "Self transfer". I will never leave the airport.

Do I need a TDAC and if so what do I enter for where will I stay!

Arrived at Bangkok airport from Vietnam, already have a DTV but my first exit and re entry.

Didn’t need anything other than my passport as the DTV and TDAC is logged under the passport. I did have them available but was told they weren’t necessary (despite the signs stating to have them ready).

I was informed (by the immigration police lady) to always check the passport stamp for the re-entry date on the DTV’s as mistakes have been made (by immigration). Once you leave the airport it can be difficult if there’s is a mistake.

Her colleague on the next desk came over to see my passport and whatever it was they had visibility to on their screens as she had never had a DTV traveller herself and wanted to see.
