Rcd 12 month extension using my still current residential address (as per lease). New lewase signed but accommodation is actually for my wife and her carer out at Nonthaburi. I will stay out there only when carer is on days off. But will actually be staying at hotel permananetly so will do a change of addresss at CW in the next few days using the new monthly hotel receipt. After that will hopefully be able to do online or postal 90 days. (Applying your earlier comment about Nonthaburi Imm to my risk assessing mind). Thanks again Tod. I reckon you admin guys are gonna have a lot of new considerations soon.......Thailand is gonna be a safe haven go-to retireent venue post-covid,,,,

When I was there 3 years ago the lady officer in command was particularly helpful to me. Good to hear nothing has changed.

Once you get back to Thailand you will need to register your marriage at the Amphoe in the area where you are still registered in the Tabian Baan. Will need all documents translated into Thai, and validated with MFA,. Amphoe will register your family name change to that of your husband and issue a certificate. Then Go to Office that issues ID cards to get a replacement ID card in your newly registered name. Then to Passports office with new ID card, and you will get a new Thai passport nin your new name also.

My Thai daughter-in-law is currently stuck here in BKK with us and is ticketed with Cathay Pacific who are generally only operating the BKK-HKG route for HKG citizens wanting repatriation. However she went to the Cathay Pacific office and managed to convince them to put her on the repatriation flight to transit HKG on 8th July, and then on-journey same-day to Melbourne. So it IS possible for foreign nationals to join these flights. Make the trip to their offices if you can. Best of luck.

Please remember also that earning money (From your business - or indeed from someone else's business) does not necessarily equate to work. I f you want to work at your business - or any other you will need the appropriate visa plus a work permit related to the business. So nothings easy, (Including parenting as you are about to discover but good luck on all your plans and hopes for you and your family)

As Tod has said already and numerous times before...90 day reporting has been waived until the 30th April. That probably means the website application is not being monitored - as the staff are deployed elsewhere and covering for others who are probably ill. It's advantageous to yourself not to report. You get some free days.
