My condo lease expires on 31st March. Am moving into hotel permanently and they are filing the TM30's correctly. But will need to do a change of address, or, can I do by mail? If I go to MTT, which counter? Have never been there previously as always done online. Do I just rock up or need an appointment?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the process of changing their address after moving from a condo to a hotel in Thailand. They are unsure if they need to report this change in person or if it can be done by mail, especially since the hotel is correctly filing TM30 forms. They also ask about the procedures at the immigration office and whether an appointment is necessary.

The hotel has shown me the spreadsheet of the report they have given to the immigfration office. So does this mean my change of address is now registered with them. OR do I need to report in person. I understand I will need to do my first 90 day report in person anyway but that is a different matter.

that they showed you the spread sheet is only the first step for them filing TM30's, and it's where they import the data, they need to do that, save it, the go in and search for it and THEN do a screen grab and print it

Exactly. If the system is down for us, and the hotel its likely down for Police also, so system not being updated. And Police gone back to manually managed paper as their preferred option....So I think in my interests to talk with hotel and get whatever I can from them and go to MTT and self file just to know its done....

the hotel needs to access the data (which they CAN'T at this time because the system is down) and then PRINT a screen grab showing your data was entered in the system. It looks like this

The TM28 is no longer needed. Just have the hotel submit the TM30
