What should I do if my TM30 filing is missing due to the online immigration system being down?

Not sure if this is just affecting myself, but on 10th March had my NO (Retirement) extension stamped and signed to expire 27 Match 22. Moved to new residence on 1st May and juristic tried today to file TM30 online, but could not find a record of the latest extension. When I checked on my mobile app to the immigration service it advised my status for overstay was normal but had expiry of 27 March 2021? I suspect the online services were down so long the backlog of data updates has not caught up. CW closed at the moment anyway so best advice on what my options are. At the moment I am more or less self isolating so not too keen on public transport out to CW to try and sort personally.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user reports an issue with their TM30 filing following a change of residence. Despite having their NO (Retirement) visa extension in place, the new juristic person was unable to find a record of it online. The user suspects that the immigration online services may have a backlog, which is causing discrepancies in their status, showing an overstay that requires attention. Respondents clarify that there may be confusion regarding the TM30 online filing process, emphasizing that the juristic person should take responsibility for filing it, and suggest possible paths forward while highlighting that the user should avoid unnecessary outings during the pandemic.

And I'd say we've taken this about as far as we can. Good luck getting your TM30, sounds like you've got it well under control.

Sorry,

C/W is the main immigration office in Bangkok out at the government center on Chaengwattana Road

AND

MTT is the alternate immigration office in Bangkok (for some services) out at by the Muang Thong Thani Impact Arena

thank you

and the mobile app you were using to "check" was the eServices app which is the 90 day reporting application NOT the TM30 app (which is Section 38)

Again, you're NOT on overstay and your juristic person CAN file a TM30 on you if they know how to do it. It sounds a lot more like they don't know how to do it rather than anything else.

Yes....They are only used to the online TM30. But when I went down there again she had already printed a copy of the fom to file with the receipt on the bottom but the fear of covid has been instilled and we should now see her duty being followed through with. Cheers again mate.

your juristic person is confused. There is no could not find a record of the latest extension on the online TM30 program. It's a passive data ENTRY system. They put your information into the system there is no "look up someone" in i t

Yes I was surprised as the previous hotel had been handwriting them and physically passing to immigration, but I have the receipt and copy of the handwritten ledger entry with all my details. So have explained to juristic at new condo that is actually her responsibiity....All I need is the receipt from the bottom of her handwritten filing and a photocopy of the ledger showing my details. How she files is not my problem. She was not happy till I explained that me going to MTT to file in the midst of the worst death rate from Covid, and risking bringing the disease back here to infect her and the other staff and residents seemed to tip the scales in favour of her doing a manual filing of the TM30.

I have been advised by my immigration that the online systems are still not working properly. If it works, you can use it. If not, then you must show up at the immigration.

But as I have said the obligation to file a TM30 is actually on the building owner/jursitic. So will get them to call immigration.

Wayne Drummond. It's their responsibility, but sadly you will wear the 800 baht fine!

CW opened today been and gone.

@Jak ******
Sadly, he wouldn't use CW to file a TM30, that's at MTT (which is also open)

There is some type of updating problem that's happening *ON THE THAI GOVERNMENT'S SIDE* for updating who is on overstay with those applications. I've seen a report from Tod Daniels saying *HE* is on overstay as well, according to the application.

>CW closed at the moment anyway so best advice on what my options are.

You will file a TM30 at MTT, which is open today

But Obligation is firstly on the property owner yes? The juristic have said they will do. So why should I have to self file at MTT?
Tod *********
@Wayne *********
if the juristic person said they'd go file a TM30 for you you've got nothing to worry about

According to how the immigration office enforces the rules, it's the property processors' responsibility to confirm the TM30 is filed or get fined. The person who's possession of the property is you.

The juristic office can go to MTT and file the TM30 for you in person. I also never heard of any problems of submitting a TM30 if you're on overstay (which you aren't, but if you were, there should be no problems)
