Need advice. So I did my 30 days extensions in Bangkok but I’m in another province now.

I will be changing my tourist visa to non b here itself. Do I still need to report my 90 days ? And if so, can I do it here or does it need to be from the office where you got your extension ?

Hello and good day to everyone!

I have two quick questions:

The first one is, I currently have a DTV workation, and in 3 weeks it will be 90 days since I arrived in the country. I've heard that it needs to be declared. I am currently in Chiang Mai; is this done at the same place as the visa extension? Also, do I need to prepare anything in advance, or should I just show up with my passport, and that's enough?

The second question: Once I leave the country and decide to come back, do I still need to prove I have 500k baht in my bank account, or is there no more check?

Thank you so much in advance for your answers! :)

My 90 Day Reporting is due on Monday 13th but I fly out to Malaysia on Wednesday 15th. Do I still need to do it? Would I get fined on my return? TIA

Has anyone ever done 90 day reporting at One Bangkok? I just made an appointment online but seems like most people not doing it there for the first time.

Chicken or egg

It reads to get a bank account you need a retirement visa, but to get a visa, you need a bank account.

What do you apply for first.

And if you’re out of the country for more than 90 days, is your visa revoked as you can’t check in with immigration?

If I have a condo but like to travel and stay in hotels do I need to have my landlord file a TM30 everytime I come back from staying in a a hotel if the checkout date is when my 180 stamp is up for my condo? Also if a hotel didn’t send in a TM30 and I already left is it better to leave the country and come back before 90 days to avoid the 90 day report?

Ok, I get a new passport soon.

But I have questions.

Do I have to transfer the visa and other information, like entry stamp immediately?

Also same questions for bank and phone company, is it a problem, I do that a bit later.

Question is also related to the fact I had an accident. I cannot go anywhere, for at least 2 months, if surgery is needed, maybe longer.

Banks will probably not notice that, but I also have to for fill my 90 days, online in 6 weeks. So that could be a problem is passport nr is not same.

Thank you.

I entered BKK yesterday, it was insanely busy. Took almost an hour to reach the immigration desk.

I handed my British passport, printed A4 DTV and boarding card to the IO. I had the DTAC on my phone but knew they didn't need to see it directly from me.

She stamped me in for 6 months. No questions asked. I was not asked anything, literally. In fact I said literally nothing. Nothing about purpose of visit, how long I stay, evidence for onward ticket etc.

FWIW I first obtained the DTV November last year. This was only my second entry on it. For the first entry I stayed 93 days.

I also want to point, while I know it was silly not to, I did NOT do my 90 day reporting on that first entry.

The IOs all look so stressed by the insane lines I think they were just happy to process people as fast as possible that didn't need 'intervention'. I noted the Brits before me were stamped in on their exemption on arrival stamps in the fastest I've ever seen an IO deal with someone. Literally 45 seconds at the desk.

I would appreciate the knowledge & experience in this group.

My question is about the 90 day reporting (TM30) after you enter Thailand on a new DTV visa.

Previously if we re enter we would report our residence at immigration.

But when we enter Thailand for the first time on a new DTV visa, we have also completed a TDAC, which has our address in it.

Do we also need to go to immigration within 24 hours?

Thank you in advance
