What should I do if my Non-Immigrant OA visa expires while trying to leave Thailand during the amnesty?

I'm confused....situation normal.

My Permission to stay stamp says I have to leave Thailand 25 July 2020.

I'm Australian and entered on a Non Immigrant OA 20190725.

I cannot avail myself of the 2nd year as the Thai Embassy in Canberra only issued the visa for 3 months. I didn't catch the error before leaving Australia. Anyway that issue was covered here many months ago.

Now I need to know how my situation fits in this so called Amnesty? Which expires 20200731.

FYI I'm trying to get a Cathay Pacific Flight out of Swampy 20200725. (The permission to stay expiration date.

What is likely to happen if that flight is a no show/cancelled?

And I'm obliged to stay until I can find another flight to Australia.

I want to go home. I'm not looking for some angle to stay.

I know crystal balls are out of fashion however I think my situation can be addressed from current facts.

Thoughts please.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is an Australian on a Non-Immigrant OA visa with a permission to stay until July 25, 2020, and is confused about the current amnesty policy. They are trying to leave Thailand before the deadline but are uncertain about the consequences if their flight is canceled. Comments suggest exploring alternative flights and contacting the embassy for assistance.

Get in touch with the Australian Embassy as they are arranging flights to Australia with some airlines including Thai Airways

My Thai daughter-in-law is currently stuck here in BKK with us and is ticketed with Cathay Pacific who are generally only operating the BKK-HKG route for HKG citizens wanting repatriation. However she went to the Cathay Pacific office and managed to convince them to put her on the repatriation flight to transit HKG on 8th July, and then on-journey same-day to Melbourne. So it IS possible for foreign nationals to join these flights. Make the trip to their offices if you can. Best of luck.

You write you do want to go home, the Admitted until 25 Jul 2020 means that you are allowed to stay until that day and even till 23:59 hours. But you are allowed to leave before that date, so look around if you can get a flight a day or few days or even a week before 25 July,

IF you can't get out before the 25th of July, you'll go on amnesty which currently runs until the 31st of July.

NO ONE KNOWS what will happen when that runs out.

Remember you CAN get OUT of thailand, (just maybe not back to Australia direct) so you would have to cobble the flight together.

If you decide not to leave all you can do is wait it out like everyone else and see what happens
