With an ox visa you have to report to immigration yearly to show your bank details and medical insurance which was due today. They told me date you have to report resets if you leave the country to a year from when you return which is 11th November 2025

Probably a simple, dumb question . . .

I am arriving next month on a 60 day visa exempt status. Our house is in my sister-in-law’s name. Is she required to report my arrival/stay at the local immigration office?

Thanks.

I have a retirement visa. I currently live in Samui and have already done 1 90 day check in. I went to the states and returned May 14 so my next 90 day will be August 14 but I will be living in Krabi that month. Can I do check in at Krabi immigration? TIA

Hi, my parents are going to apply for an OA visa in Thailand for a year. I heard that they still have to report to immigration every 3 months? Do they have to pay something every three months at immigration?

Thank you

Hello everyone,

couldnt find anything about it, most probably because I dont know how it is called, would much appreciate if anyone could help.

But when I arrive in Thailand at the airport and go through all the immigration there, after going to the place where I am about to stay, do I need to go to the local immigration to tell them where exactly I am staying?

Is that a rule, or just something I missunderstood, maybe not all visas have to do that? Got a 60 day tourist visa.

Thanks in advance.

1. Is it the landlord’s responsibility to report to immigration if a foreign National lessee breaks their lease and has moved out earlier (months not just a few days) than their lease?

2. When a foreign National leaves the country and returns to their same home that they lived at before they left the country (and had already done a TM30), is a new TM30 need to be done?

3. Has immigration discontinued the departure card?

4. Who ultimately has responsibility for the TM30? If the landlord provides and signs the landlord information on the form and tells the lessee to report to immigration within 24 hours of the move in date (with documented proof photos), shouldn’t the lessee have responsibility? The lessee can also fill out the form without the landlord although it is not obvious looking at the form. I think there are instructions in this group as to how to fill the form out without the landlordas I remember doing this once because my landlord was unaware or pretended to be unaware of the reporting requirement.

Hallo everybody,

I was/am here in Thailand on a non O retirement extension valid until June 2023.

The thing is, I have been away to the Netherlands for 3 months because of family circumstances……

Of course I had a re entry permit , so to come back to TH was no problem ( I came back September 27 ), and now after a visit to my Thai family , I came back to Samui, which is basically my residence in TH.

The question is in short…

Do I need to report myself with the immigration here that I was out and back in..?

Does my landlord have to state I am back at the old adres..?

Thanks in advance for your advice..

With regards

Rob
