I posted a conversation starter here a few hours ago regarding Transferwise and the problem of getting satisfactory paperwork for Immigration. I can no longer find that post and never had any responses. from the members. Nevertheless have now had positive information from Transferwise that they can and will now provide the documentation. See attached text from their email...Carolina S. (TransferWise)

Hello Wayne,

Thank you for your email.

Although our transfers are processed via local transfer -from our account in Thailand to yours, we are able to provide the "*Confirmation Letter of International Funds Transfer", *also known as FET (Foreign Exchange Transaction).* *This document is what's required by Thai regulatory bodies to prove that you regularly have incoming foreign funds to your local bank account in Thailand so that you can have the permission to stay in Thailand.

So, although the money is coming technically as a local transfer, this document should suffice to prove that the money is coming from abroad. As Piret mentioned, we can't generally offer this sort of document, but as there has been a lot of interest from expats to be able to process transfers with us, then this would be the procedure that we can offer to help.

You can obtain this document once the transfer shows as completed on your TransferWise profile by following the steps in Aigar's email or by reading our article: [FET forms]([members only])

I hope I helped to provide some clarity to the way we operate, but should you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us back. We are happy to help.

Best,

Carolina

You're probably better off asking in this transferwise group. Such posts as yours often get closed / removed as technically moving money around is not visa related
