Hi all. I'm on a non o multiple entry marriage visa. 1 year but 90 day entry at a time. I am getting mixed information from DLT and IO. I am in Phu Sang, near Chaingkham, Phayao district.

I am buying a car/truck. DLT here are saying I need to be in Thailand for 1 year before I can have it in my name. However, IO in Phayao said to go to DLT, get a letter from them and they will sort the paperwork. Whatever that means.

I understood, before starting this. that I could get a residency paper from IO, take that with seller, to DLT and have the vehicle in my name. It appears not to be that simple.

Not sure what to do? I can put it in my wife's name but wanted it in mine. BTW, we have been married 34 years so no issues there. We both, mostly, live in the UK though I'm now retired and want to spend more time in Thailand.

Hi all, I need to get my UK marriage certificate legalised in the UK and then translated ready for next year's o visa (supporting a Thai wife), is there a reliable agent here that can do this please? The people who I was going to use in Chiangmai will no longer do it. I live in Phayao and there's not much help here, Tia Paul

Hi Guys, just got my first one year o-a retirement extension here in Phayao, took 2 attempts, bank hadn’t signed the guarantee letter and some of my photo copies were not good enough and the new size passport photos didn’t include my shoulders, so took 2 trips on same day. They also were lenient with me as my combined income method from private pension and other incomes is not normally accepted, but happy that I got my stamp

Hi gang,

Is this a viable border crossing for 90day stamps? Google maps directed me this way and it says there is a crossing but I don't recall ever seeing anyone talk about it. It's convenient for me as the fam live in Phayao.

Cheers
