My experience is that the departing airport will need the health cert and supporting documents, but they would not scan the rfid tag. Board and land in bangkok. At the asq, they will scan the tag, then act blur and say the hk side make a mistake, blah blah. Documentation can be rectified at the thai side. This would cause some delays of course.

Everyone now needs a biometric authentication set up. Visit your branch to do a face scan. Then u are set.

Most hospitals can apply for med visa. That can be extended to parents as well. Ask your hospital

i have high chlolestrol and hypertension, the insurance excluded all heart issues from the cover.

Its impt to have a insurance in thailand if you want to use the private hospitals. The service is great, equipment world class but expensive. Learned the hard way about not getting it earlier cos as we age, we accumulate more problems that results in exclusions.

My bad. The reentry permit expires in nov 2023. My work permit expires in june 2024. How to go about extending the reentry permit to the date of my work permit expiry?

Just tell him you wanna scan and pay. The qr will be generated in the credit card terminal. If you ask for promptpay or qr, the answer is probaby no.

its easier at your embassy. My charged me 150 baht and the cert was issued in 3 hours. All they need was a rental contract or a phone bill, utilities bill sent to your house
