NO, no such rule. Many people with an LTR, other qualifying visas, married or work permits can open and accounts in Thailand.

nothing, At least it’s my opinion. If you’re here and bringing in a lot of money from big dividends then you will be watched. Other than that I can’t see anything happening or changing. I pay taxes in my home country that’s where it will stop for me
