so. If you are you can get in to Phuket from July 1st without ASQ. Go for the 60 day TV that you can extend once (total 90 days) gives you time to open a bank account and transfer the required money for the required amount of time) people do get bank accounts on TV, just need some shopping around.

Aha!! I was nearly right.. you can get an extension from the 45 visa exempt... I got the process wrong... It's been a difficult year..🥵

I was just looking in to this. KPNG immigration has been staffed from Surat Thani not Samui. Surat Thani is the primary office in that province. You need to report every 90 if in the Kingdom more than 90 days. Although they'll see you again in 60 days, you cant report 90 day report then as you can only do this 15 days before or 7 days after. Atleast you have a local immigration office now.

Bali is no better off than Phuket.

to expand... IF you're sold a multi-entry visa, you'll be able to enter (subject to covid 19 restrictions) and then have to apply for an extension. You won't be able to Bounce out and back in again to activate the next 90 days.
