Quick question about the bank account statements and so on, as i want to get this done in the first try:

I am a US citizen applying in Ho Chi Minh and I have been a self employed business consultant for over 5 years.

What specific documents do i need that have been working the best for others in the group? (Ex: EIN, State corporation LLC paperwork, client contracts, etc)

Then in regards to banking:

Is it okay to use 6 my personal statements from different personal accounts or does it need to all be from one bank?

Also could i use the business bank account statements in place of my own?

Much appreciated 🙏

Hi everyone, I am US citizen coming to Thailand for retirement visa. I already have a BBL account from a previous retirement visa (had to let it lapse because of a emergency). I paid an agent back then. Question - where do I find the list of required documents to do it myself? I know I need to change to NON O first 3 months and then retirement but cannot find a list of the documents required for either. TIA

As of this message what are the 1 year + visa options for someone under 50, not married. American if that matters. I'm aware of the elite visa. He has 27 days left on his current visa but only 3 or 3.5 pages left in his passport. Looking for one year stay + only. Thanks in advance.

Greetings everyone, I’m a U S citizen and I would like to extend my visit in Thailand longer. I’m currently in Chiang Mai and my 30 days will be up on the 4/30. My question is what’s the best way to go about staying longer in Thailand? Should I apply for 30 more days and will I be able to visit other Southeast Asia countries and apply for a tourist visa if I wanted to revisit again ? Thank you in advance.

Be well

I am a US citizen residing in Spain and headed to Thailand next week on a 60-day e-visa. After I return to Spain, I will decide whether I want to retire in Thailand and get a retirement visa. Two issues: I am healthy but age 70 and would prefer to avoid the expense of medical insurance. I can apply from Spain or Thailand - which type visa would work best - O or O-A? Also, Thailand wants a proof of income letter from the embassy, but the US Embassy doesn’t issue these anymore. What alternative is acceptable? Many thanks!

My ED visa will expire in 3 months . I've been here a year. I'd like to stay about 3 months longer. What options do I have? Cambodia and back as a tourist then extend or another ED program/Visa. US Citizen/Chonburi. I'll be talking to schools/agents this week.

Also, my pp is full. I will get a new one. Do I need to have the stamp transfered or can I just show the old pp?

Cost and experiences welcome, TIA.

Hello all,

I am a US citizen and entered the country visa exempt last month. I’m hoping to extend my visa without doing a boarder run. From what I understand, I can do this for about 2000THB at an immigration office. I am on Koh Phangan, does anyone know if I am able to extend my visa at the immigration office here?

Thank you ✨🥰

Hello and thanks for having me in this forum. I searched posts here and so hope this isn’t too much of a repeat. I am a US citizen recently turned 50 coming to Thailand on the 45 day exemption stamp. I am going to apply for a non-immigrant O visa when I arrive once I open my bank account and secure a long term rental. I am wondering what others in a similar situation have found applying for the visa if there are any caveats or things I should be aware of to avoid having my application denied. Any suggestions are appreciated.
