I'm on a yearly extension of stay for retirement based on a non-immigrant O visum.

Before doing my last TM47 90 day reporting online on 02/01/2025, approved on 03/01/2025, my next reporting was due on 16/01/2025. Now the next one is due on 02/04/2025. So far, so good...

This morning, I received an email saying this:

"Your receipt for notification of "STAYING LONGER THAN 90 DAYS" will be due on 16/01/2025.

(...)

Please apply TM47 request online or contact the Immigration Branch Office in your residence area before due date."

2 questions:

1) Should I worry that Immigration may have bungled up my last TM47? I just checked in the online system where everything still looks good.

2) Useful to know for the next time: Can an online TM47 nowadays also be done just 5 days before the due date? The email text suggests that this is the case but I think TIT also applies here and it might be a "misunderstanding"... So far I thought that it was only possible 14 days to 7 days before the due date, hence I did it 14 days before.

Apologies for my dimness... but... Having got a DTV, is there anything else one has to do when entering or staying in Thailand? (I mean in order to secure one's right to enter & stay in the country.). I got an email with a single page document entitled "THAI E-VISA" attached... (The document has a QR code on it.) I have printed that out and could of course show the electronic version on my phone...

Anything else? Thank you for any help/ instructions you can give me on this....

A few Qs I just want to confirm about 90-day reporting that I thought others might have too:

1. Who is eligible to do tm47 90 day-report at One Stop Center for Visa and Work Permits at Chamchuri Square?

2. If I am traveling outside Bangkok during my tm47 reporting period but am usually based in BKK, how can I file for tm47?

3. If I leave the country, can I file my tm47 online after returning?

Hello,

Can I do my 90 day TM47 Reporting at the "One Stop Center for Visa and Work Permits" at Chamchuri Square Building , Floor 18, Phayathai Rd. Phatumwan?

I forgot to do the online reporting 7 days early, so I have to go in-person.

Thanks!

Hi, can someone who knows for sure whether or not people on the 60 days covid extension have to also do the 90 days report ( TM47) ? I was not asked to do this when I was at Samui Immigration for my extension however, my friends here on Koh Phangan at the new Immigration office here were told that they had to do it. This is very confusing and seems redundant as we would be essentially be coming back in 60 days anyway to apply for another extension ( if still allowed). Clarification would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Questions on Thai Spouse Visa & Extension + 90 days report

I got my 90 days single entry Non-OA visa based on spouse outside of Thailand, from what I went through the previous posts under the extension topic I can apply a 60 days extension by using the reason of visiting family for ONCE. so my questions as below

1.1 When should I apply the 60 days extension? Is it the soonest I can apply is when my current visa has 45 days left? The total date will be 150 days of stay from the date I entered Thailand, is that correct?

1.2 Do I need to do TM47 90 days report when I apply for the extension (60 days, visiting family) in a province immigration office

2.1 Do I need to do TM30 report within 24 hours arriving home in my local province immigration office after leaving 14 days ASQ in a hotel located Bangkok?

2.2 If I stay in Bangkok (rented condo) for a couple days before returning home and do not file TM30 until arriving home (province), will that an issue for me when I report TM30 in the province immigration service?

Look forward to all expertise advices and appreciate for the helpful posts in the past.

On a TM8 form is there any set amount of days before you travel to get the stamp?

I know one can get them at the airport on departure, but I need to go to immigration

in the next few days and was wondering about doing the TM47 and TM 8 at same time.

I’ll be flying 20 days after my TM 47 check in.

Thanks for your help appreciate the site.

Just re-entered and received a stamp valid until 11/02/20 I’ve (obviously) got to report to immigration 90 days from re-entry date. I’d assumed that the 11/02/20 date was the date I must use the re-entry by, Is this normal? (extension to stay based on marriage.) 👍
