Is there a shorter quarantine for fully vaccinated travelers to Thailand from the UK, and are there plans to scrap quarantine soon?

From the UK, have had both 1 and 2 AstraZeneca vaccines. Is it still 14 day quarantine or is it shorter after being fully vaccinated? Also am I correct in saying they are thinking of scrapping quarantine next month😳

TLDR : Answer Summary
Currently, travelers from the UK who are fully vaccinated with AstraZeneca are still required to undergo a 14-day quarantine upon arrival in Thailand. There is speculation about Phuket allowing vaccinated visitors to enter without quarantine starting July 1st, contingent on vaccination rates reaching certain targets. However, as of now, travelers must adhere to the existing quarantine regulations.

October will be the end of quarantine

But for now you still have to quarantine even with vaccinations

I’m glad I didn’t fall into that trap and get vaccinated under false pretences to find out that vaccination stands for jackshit where money is involved.

The new hope is that by July 1st Thailand will be more open to tourists blah blah

Donkey carrot and string

At the moment you're vaccine doesn't matter! But I expect this will change soon.

At present time it's 15 nights quarantine. But if you have to go you have to go. I've just completed everything apart from negative tests. It's been hard but?

Is it still around £1000 for the 14 day quarantine hotels?

100% 14 day quarantine required now. And UK covid failures not desired anywhere on earth at this point. It doesn;t matter at all if YOU are immunized, it matters if the majority of humans around you are immunized. Maybe next year for no quarantine. But never been a better time to be here

Can still become infected after vaccinated. Can still become infected after having covid. No change.

Yes, maybe and no. So far the plan is Phuket allow vaccinated visitors and no quarantine from July 1st. The rest of Thailand from October. If I don’t as you maybe wait until it’s official.

At the moment yes, it’s still a 14 day quarantine to be served in an ASQ hotel. Phuket is planning to open to full vaccinated tourists from July 1st, but the details haven’t been released yet and there is a lot of speculation as to whether or not they will meet the conditions in order to reopen.

No changes for being vaccinated full quarantine.

Phuket supposed to be opening next month if they reach 70 % of population of Phuket fully vaccinated. But there only at 22 % so not likely to happen. Dont even think they have included the expat population in the 22 % figure

And they need reach that figure by June 16th TIT. They will either fudge the figures or delay.
