Got two in Bangkok the other week. All I needed was relevant passport copies and a TM30.

They wouldn’t post it which is what I read somewhere. I picked it up 7 or 8 days later.

You see thai people blaming the excemption for thuggery all the time on social media.

60 to 30 won’t address that.

You guessed it. Pressure and tanks. Power showers will exfoliate you. They’re incredible. But you’re at the mercy of your tank size.

I think they’re fairly rare nowadays.

I asked Gemini if their screenshot was true and it said ‘mostly’. 😆

I’ve been using it as another tool for my non O and other visa and immigration matters and it’s dangerously wrong sometimes or it omits important ceveats. You’ve got to be so careful with it. I’m not at the stage of trusting it despite using it.

Yeah I just got two residence certificates from immigration in BKK. One for bank and another for car.

And I had to go back to collect a week later. They wouldn’t post.

I took my UK licence along to the Department of Land Transport this Tuesday . Together with my passport and a certificate of residency I had got the week before from immigration.

There are some videos, a few multiple choice questions and 4 simple physical tests.

I walked away with a temporary 2 year car licence.

What I didn’t know is that I needed a separate residence certificate for a bike licence.

No rush with that.

Edit. Took my IPD too. They didn’t look at it.

Also I forgot to mention I also took a medical certificate.

Nah. Imagine being triggered by that simple question. And then going on to call him a wombat. Who calls people names on Facebook for fuck sake.

I converted in Bangkok a few weeks ago. With those two things. A letter from the bank day before, a passport photo, copy updated bank book, copy passport pages and a TM30. I think she took some signed copy ID from the landlady too.

The 800k was transferred in two halves and had only been in the account one day when I applied.

I changed visa two weeks ago. Already had a bank account too obviously. Got the 3 month stamp 15 days later.

It was pretty easy and straightforward.
