Iโm looking for a quick check on my first 90-day report deadline after a visa conversion. I was expecting a bit of paper in my passport but they just stapled in the receipt which I used to go and get my non O stamp.
My timeline
โข Arrived in BKK (Tourist Visa): Nov 25
โข Converted to Non-O (Retirement): Jan 7
โข Current status: On the initial 90-day Non-O stamp.
I really just want to confirm the first 90 day report is from the date of entry and not the date of conversion.
Also I want to thank everyone who helped me a couple of months ago. You put my mind at rest that I could still convert in country with an existing bank account.
Tod Daniels especially. I just followed what you said to the letter and had zero problems.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The first 90-day reporting for a Non-O visa does not start until you have applied for a yearly extension. The initial 90-day Non-O stamp does not require reporting, and you will only receive the 90-day reporting paper after your yearly extension is granted.

You don't have a visa/extension that requires 90 day reporting yet
The 90 day non-o doesn't let you stay long enough to start your 90 day reporting
The "count down" to your first 90 day report will start the day you apply for your yearly extension <- That's when most offices put the paper in your passport because that's when you're on a visa/extension that lets you stay longer than 90 days ๐
You don't do anything now, just wait until you go get the year extension and after that extension is inked in check for the 90 day report paper and if it's not there then before you walk out of the immigration office ask them .. .. ..
