Nah. I’m poking fun at the really terrible graphic they released. In a nutshell, amnesty is extended until the 26th of September. After that, if you want to stay, you’ll need to take additional steps. The moratorium on 90-day reporting has ended and everyone needs to do that again by the end of August. There isn’t any definitive answers as to some visa conversions yet (tourist to O, tourist/O to B, etc) that I know of, anyway. We’re still waiting on official word. They open up on Wednesday. I’ll poke around and ask again then.
Yes ma'am! I explain stuff all day long at immigration so that we only have to do it once. One thing I failed to mention though is that you still need to ask your hotel/housemaster to report you for TM-30 status. It's their job, not yours, to tell the government where you live.
