So, gleaned from the khaosod article, I went to [members only] and saw the cabinet decree. We just have to wait for enacting, but....looks like same-same amnesty until 26 September.

Copy pasta:

The Cabinet approved the resolution proposed by the National Police Office. as follows:

1. The Immigration Office shall issue an announcement. The deadline for aliens to be implemented under the Immigration Act B.E. 2522 and other relevant laws shall be completed by September 26, 2020.

2. Extend the permitting period to stay in the Kingdom under Section 35 of the Immigration Act B.E. 2522 (1979) (including under the Petroleum Act B.E. 2514 and the Amendment to the Investment Promotion Act B.E. 2527) and the Amendment and Industrial Estate Act of 1971.In accordance with Article 2 (1) of the Ministry of Interior Notification on The Permission of certain aliens to be in the Kingdom as a special case dated 7 April 2020, as amended by the Ministry of Interior announcement on the provision of certain aliens in the Kingdom as a special case (No. 2) dated April 23, 2020, dated 23 April 2020, as of August 1, 2020, to September 26, 2020.

It also says same-same about 90-day reporting.

Stay tuned for further details from immigration themselves.

Again, we’re waiting on what immigration themselves have to say in regards to procedure (or lack thereof). This post was just to let everyone know SOMETHING is happening so they can breathe easier.

As soon as I get guidance, I’ll relay. I promise.
