TLDR : Answer Summary
On April 13, 2020, there were only a few Non-Immigrant renewals/extensions being processed at Chiang Mai Immigration. It's advised for those with yearly extensions related to retirement, employment, or marriage to apply promptly if their renewal date is approaching.

IF you are on a yearly extension of stay based on retirement, employment, marriage, raising kids, etc NOW is the time to apply for your new extension if yours is coming up.

It's on my todo list this week. Just been to the hospital to get a doctor's certificate; tomorrow, off to the provincial governor's office; Wednesday should be Ubon Immigration followed by Labour Department on Thursday.
