New form to fill out for all my people coming to Chiang Mai Immigration. This one basically says “Yes, I know I’m covered but I want to extend anyway.” This is a piece of paperwork that I don’t mind including as it rather eliminates some doubt when I explain to people/skeptics.
I don’t think they will change the announcement date on the form as the new (upcoming but unpublished) extension is a continuation of the original announcement. I didn’t write the form, so I don’t know. If it changes, so will the attachment.
But, this baby needs to be in your packet for any extension or renewal packet you submit for ANY visa type. Don’t forget it. But, if you are screened by a friendly volunteer at the door, we will include it for you.
Be well!
