To be based in Prawet/Suan Luang I was hoping there might be an alternative!!

Hi everyone, I’d truly appreciate the group’s help.

I submitted DTV applications for my wife and kids (as dependents) at the Thai Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City 21 days ago (I already hold a DTV visa as a remote worker).

After 5 days, their applications changed to “Pending Approval”, and they’ve been stuck there for more than 2 weeks.

I’ve tried calling the consulate (no answer) and sent emails (no reply).

Does anyone know how to expedite this process? Or can anyone recommend an agent who has a direct line to the consulate?

Thanks so much in advance!

New Question

I work in Thailand and I am married to a Thai citizen. Presently I have a Non-Immigrant B working visa. I found a new job in a different province. My current school will cancel my visa and work permit on my last day of employment with them. I went to the Thai immigration office today to ask some questions. The immigration officer told me the following:

1) Since I am married to a Thai citizen, I can get a one-time 30 day extension of my Non Immigrant B visa for the purposes of visiting my wife.

2) During these 30 days my visa status will continue to be a Non-Immigrant B visa.

3) During these 30 days I can transfer the visa to my new school.

I have been living in Thailand for 25 years and change jobs several times but I have never hear of anything like this. Are these 3 points correct?

ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS:

TDAC (THAILAND DIGITAL ARRIVAL CARD)

Starting May 1st anyone entering thailand is required to fill out the TDAC before the stamp in.

You can do it online with the website from 3 days before your arrival right down to your arrival here

IF you can't do it before you get here, there are kiosks set up before passport control to fill it out once you land

remember anyone arriving after 12:01am May 1st has to fill one out

here's the website

[members only]

Also for people who live here

you CAN select thailand as your Country of Residence, then it will give the +66 for your thai number and you can select the province you live in

Hello! My Malaysian friend's tourist viza (60 days) is expiring on 18th. Would it be possible to go Chaeng Watthana office for an extention in the morning of 17th? Or he should do a "viza run" or leave the Kingdom? TIA and Have A Nice Day...!

Hello everyone,

I have a question. Me and my husband rented a house in Thailand. I am applying for DTV now in Vietnam but I don’t know what to put here in “accommodation name” 😅 it is a house so it doesn’t have a name. What did you put here?

TIA
