Hey gang...2 questions (Asking for a friend with a tourist visa):

1. What's the latest on the COVID extensions going away (25th or so, I hear), and

1. Are visa border runs to Laos a thing now? Is the process still the same?

Thanks all....

Answer summary

The latest information indicates that COVID-related visa extensions may be coming to an end around the 25th of this month. Additionally, border runs to Laos are reportedly back in practice, although no official announcements have been made regarding the procedures.
