Hey everyone!

Just a heads-up that the Promenada location is open again and ready to service your immigration needs! As it says in the sign, there are specific things this location does:

Tourist Visa extensions/issues

90-day reporting

FORMAL EDUCATION visa extensions (Student, Instructor, dependents, guardian, etc). This means University and "school", not language or self-defense or anything like that.

Bring all your Consular letters to stay past 26 September HERE.

Any former Thai national that needs to visit immigration (NOT FOR MARRIAGE VISA). This one isn't very common.

Anyway, Immigration has asked for some volunteers to head there and assist, so we'll be there to help if need be.

Yes, they will have copy services in Promenada.

Yes, you can still use the 90-day reporting window at the other location. It isn't closing.

If you try and do any of the above at the main location, they will probably tell you to head to the Promenada location.

Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Promenada immigration location has reopened and provides services including tourist visa extensions, 90-day reporting, and extensions for formal education visas (such as for students and instructors, not language schools). It's important to bring all necessary Consular letters for stays past September 26. Volunteers are available to help visitors, and copy services are provided on-site. Visitors should be aware that similar services remain available at other locations, particularly regarding 90-day reporting.

Nah. I’m poking fun at the really terrible graphic they released. In a nutshell, amnesty is extended until the 26th of September. After that, if you want to stay, you’ll need to take additional steps. The moratorium on 90-day reporting has ended and everyone needs to do that again by the end of August. There isn’t any definitive answers as to some visa conversions yet (tourist to O, tourist/O to B, etc) that I know of, anyway. We’re still waiting on official word. They open up on Wednesday. I’ll poke around and ask again then.
