Happy Monday!

Well, it’s official. 31 July is the new extension end date. All the details and things you can get all over the place. My thing is this...don’t slay the messenger.

As I walked in the morning, I found out that now CM

Immigration wants everyone with an “Under Consideration” stamp to come in and get it finalized. So, come on down. Head to area 1 and follow their directives.

Apologies for the inconvenience, but as with this whole process, things change. I trumpeted what I was told at the time, so here is the new guidance and the trumpet blast.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The new guidance for foreigners with an 'Under Consideration' stamp in Chiang Mai Immigration is to come in and finalize their status due to changes in immigration policy. The end date for extensions has been officially set for July 31. It's advised to check with local immigration offices for specific requirements, as procedures may vary across locations in Thailand.

Thanks again Mike for your welconed reports regarding Chiang Mai Immigration.

We still recommend all to check with their local immigration office to make sure you are OK.

Close out the Under Consideration stamp.

Good Luck All

Please be aware that this post is for CM only , other Immigration offices DO NOT require you to close out this under consideration stamp !

Jomtien , Pattaya does not require you to return !

But many people didn't get it the first time. Thankfully some kind people take their time to help others out here.

So what the point, I thought they wanted less people at immigration that’s why they also made the amnesty...🤔

Thank you Mike for the update 😊 I am currently waiting to get my Non B visa. At the moment I cannot leave Thailand to go to a Thai Embassy to get this visa? Is it possible to get the Non B visa at Chiang Mai Immigration or must I wait until I can travel to another country?
