Hii,

I’m heading to Thailand next month for a 2 month Muay Thai training camp.

I’m looking to get a 60 day evisa.

Im a British citizen with a British passport but I’m currently living in Bali.

The official visa website said I’m not eligible due to me living in Indonesia to apply for an online visa.

Does anyone know a way of obtaining a 60 day evisa online or do I have to make an appointment with the Thai embassy here in Bali?

Appreciate your help 🙏🏽

Hello, asking on behalf of a friend who has no FB.

Spanish, arrived with no visa, stamped for 30 days and wants to stay like 60 extra days before flying out to India.

What would be the most reasonable option?

* Extend 30 days + go out to Laos / Myanmar / etc and come back for another 30 days + extend again

* Go to Laos, apply for tourist visa, come back, can even extend again if he wants...

For me the 2nd one sounds better, but just in case I summon the experts

Thank you. The kids are homeschooling

Hello everyone at the Visa community! I need some advice about the 60 day-visa to Thailand, Hua Hin! I've signed a contract for a long-term house. I was told by a visa agent in Bangkok that I could extend this another 30 days. Now she advised me that she needs to have now a flight ticket with me flying to one of the border countries, otherwise the Thai embassy will refuse my 60-day visa! I was under the impression that I could do a border run to Cambodia when I arrived at Hua Hin! So I need the communities advice on this urgent matter as I will arrive in Bangkok on Sunday the 30th of April. I'm using the agency BaanSmile and they said they could help me out with the 60 day-visa! I'm an Ex brit squaddie who has been living in Germany for many years now.

Hi all.

I’m exploring other ways to stay and live In Thailand without banking money for Extension of Stay which I have done since living here since 2016 on both types of Extension of Stays firstly Retirement then Marriage which I’m on right now until February 2023.

I am

1. UK Passport British

2. Resided in Thailand since 2016 on EofS (marriage now)

3. Married to Thai National my EofS for the past 3 years.

4. Live very close to Malaysia boarder and i do visit frequently now.

I would like to know more and investigate options of doing what I think is called Boarder Bounce. I could be completely wrong with what I’ve just called it.

I would like details of processes and documents need and costs to do this in Malaysia.

I have visited Malaysia 3 times this year already with my Thai EofS and multi re-entry permit with no problems at all.

But have no idea what to do for getting the stamps or what it’s called (Boarder Bounc) and where to go in Malaysia to do this. And the pitfalls of this.

If there is a link to more info.

Looking for some advice from you lovely People. We arrived in Thailand on 1st Nov. 45 day visa on arrival. That takes us to 15th Dec. We will be in Chiang Mai from 30th Nov so will extend our visa for another 30 days over there . That takes us to 14th Jan (give or take a day). We plan to stay in Thailand beyond 14th Jan. What are our options at this point to achieve this? Do we simply extend for another 30 days at a Thai visa office or do we have to leave the country and go on one of those Visa runs Im hearing about?

I have a complicated matter concerning extension of retirement visa, and with this also the follower visa of my wife.

To be short. We arrived before covid. My wife, to whom I was not married to, at the time, went to Philippines to take care of her dying father, when 15 days later the country closed. I was on multiple entry visa at the time, and exploring the possibility to install in Thailand. To not take the risk to have the obligation to leave the country, a visa office arrange retirement visa, that was also done by an agency.

My wife came back in January 2021, after being separated for almost a year. We married in October last year. Immigration allowed exceptionally at that time a following visa due to covid (normally you have to ask this at an embassy outside Thailand).

But now our visa has to be extended before 25 th July. I am tired to pay fortunes at visa offices, they are very, very expensive. So I thought I would be fine myself, as I transferred a few million baht to my account, the last year (bought a condo). But I went a month to Europe with my wife (yes we thought about re - entry permit), but not did a transfer that month.

That is the problem with sometimes strange rules. I can proof, I have enough to live on in Thailand, with all the transfers I done, but omitting one month to put money on the account, is probably going to screw me. I also have a statement of the firm, I invested my money in, that they give me an allowance of 3000 € a month as income. But one month not thinking about the transfer is going to give me problems, I am sure.

I could use a second possibility. I have over 800.000 for 3 months on my account. Great you would say that is your solution! Only that if for extension, it should have been on it either the last year, or a minimum after 3 months obtaining the visa , last year, which is not the case and that they can see.

If someone sees another solution then paying over and over again big amounts of money to an agency, all advice welcome. For next year I will make automatic transfer every month, but now I am lost.

Hello everyone, I have a question regarding the covid extension. I'm unsure what reason to give on why I want the extension, specifically on the STM2 form and the "Affidavit for granting permission to temporarily stay in the kingdom during the pandemic situation of covid-19" form. Can anyone share their experience what has worked for them in the past? I came here on a tourist visa. Thank you!:-)

Hi all,

I'm here on a 60 day Tourist Visa and the stamp expires May 1st I'm in Phanga Nga and would like to extend further.

1. Would I apply for the regular 30 day extension for 1900 baht and once that's done in June go for the 60 day covid extension if still available or do you do covid extension first.

2. Just to confirm does the extension start from when you apply ie 30 days from the day I go to immigration or is it tacked on to when my stamp expires May 1st plus 30 days.

2. Regarding the TM30 not sure how strict they are now. I stayed here before and my same landlord used the app which is now broken so are they giving a bit of leeway in this regard. She barely speaks English and getting her to fill out TM30 is going to be next to impossible. I do have rental contract with her and land deed all this was required for me to get COE to stay here in first place.

Thanks
