Happened to me and other friends, must be a fun pastime for certain local people.. the large on line shops (eg. Lazada) are excellent, avoid giving any $$ that’s not face to face and remember, to Thais all Farangs have a money tree and it’s good to collect the fruit they don’t really need.
When I ride my bike and a dog harassed me, I stop immediately, drop the bike and (pretend to) pick up a stone or stick. Shouting loudly with arm raised I run at the animal.. I no longer have dog problems. But you seriously need rabies etc medical attention ..
My partner was denied out of hand also, no visible consideration given. The paper she was handed was neither dated nor signed, just the USA/PC version of F..off. (She is Thai government staff with assets). There is no chance at all that she will reapply, it’s a big world.
