my office wanted to see a verified copy of my bank balance. They could also ask to see proof of insurance.

interested to see if you have much choice .. the policy you load for entry determines how long you are stamped in for .. and the (separate) annual policy is compulsory.

I am interested to know how you will deal with the required insurances.

The Covid travel insurance usd$ 50k required for the Thai pass. Will you buy a full year of that?

The Thai health insurance required for long term stay, 40kb/400kb, from the listed Thai companies, will you enter with/without that?

(I was stamped in for 5 years on entry with OX, 2 years ago, before the Thai pass/covid rules)

if it breaks .. yes. But it depends on your physical location, seems that Bangkok is a chore, not so at my provincial office.

You need to update your info. 3million deposit for year 1.

Depending on age and medical conditions, compulsory, expensive health insurance.

If you choose to not exit the country, 5 years is real.

The cash remains yours, say you leave for good .. you can take it with you.

Online 90 days reports mean you go to the office once a year.
