cheers, I was not quite 100% sure that I used Thai one last time, we will get the new thai passport tomorrow so it matches ID, then just sort out UK later.

thats just advice to reduce the risk, you chose to ignore it, maybe next time not so lucky.

Hi. Yes , pretty sure thats what I did last time, though we will change thai passport to match name to thai id. I just checked and for UK passport its not legal requirement to update name but once there we will just get new on so all three match :-)

not me Mrs. We moved here then got married to UK passport still in Thai name, this side is easy to sort out. We did fly to uk previously like this lol

Not that simple, Wife has UK passport with original thai name, Thai passport has her previous married name because they used her thai ID for that passport and we were not married then so the Thai ID had previous married name, she now has new Thai ID card so will need to get new Thai passport but still left with UK passport with different name. Once in UK we would get new UK passport also. So, yes I would have been asking same question.
