Ok, as gettimg my partners UK diorce doc legaliased, debacle continues, due to UK solicitors not accepting the document as original, I missed my time to go get Non O from savannakhet, so I am going to do Ho Chi Min, Am i corect in my understanding that I can get 15 days visa exepmt as I am flying? This could be better and cheaper than Savannakhet as I can use air miles and points for flights and hotel.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires whether they can obtain a 15-day visa exemption when flying to Vietnam for a Non-O visa due to complications with their UK divorce document. Comments indicate that UK passport holders can enter Vietnam for 15 days without a visa, and provide detailed information on the necessary documents for applying for the Non-O visa at the Thai consulate in Ho Chi Minh City. They mention the requirement of an original marriage certificate, other supporting documents, and the cost associated with the visa application.

You need the original marriage certificate (so they can see it)

Signed copies of

-the marriage certificate

-your thai wife's i/d card

-your thai wife's house book listing

-the data page of your passport

-the vietnam entry stamp

you sign anything with your name on it she signs anything with hers meaning you BOTH sign the marriage certificate.

You don't need to take her or anyone with you, and it's a super slow consulate. I have had people get the visa without any letter from their wife, but if you want to have her pen one off.

Those things the application and 200USD <- they ONLY take US dollars at the thai consulates in Vietnam.

If you have a son or daughter with your wife, it makes the process a whole lot easier as was my case. But certified copies are just copies of your wife's docs that your wife signs, I think...

Valentina O'Gara 1000 baht (25 USD)

Valentina O'Gara you pay the company you use what ever they require for the invitation letter and then it costs you 25USD to get a visa on arrival once you're in vietnam
AliJames *****
You have to do the eVisa online. It will cost about 1000

Valentina you use one of the many online companies to get a visa on arrival invitation letter and then when you land in vietnam you buy a visa.
