The original question was rejected because it was perceived as a complaint rather than a genuine inquiry. Various comments pointed out that actual questions about visa processes are generally welcome, while complaints or off-topic posts are not. Members of the community emphasized the importance of adhering to guidelines that keep threads focused on constructive discussion.

Let's all get on and stop this bickering.
Life is short and nobody is better than the next.
We are all equal in my eyes.
Let's help each other and only be positive about questions asked.

More whining? Really? And yet, the admin let this through. Do you feel better now?
oh, sorry. It was a rather stupid “question” and yet, he couldn’t just let it go. I thought the smileys were about the first half. My bad.

This specific thread is kept clean AF from all chitchat, conjecture, random opinions and complaints. Pure questions and factual data only. Even if the comments seem productive but start to ramble it gets locked off.
If you want bollocks, pretty much all other groups accept it without issues.
you are confusing this forum with another. The moderators here seldom lock off any question, unless it gets too bad. Usually the only posts we decline are adverts (user is blocked), “thanks for adding me to the group”, or random completely irrelevant posts.
Garrett, with all serious due respect, I think this is a matter of perspective. I do not maintain a permanent address in my home country while I'm out of country. I spend 7 months a year travelling. I am unable to complete this box/form for the same reason the OP is asking. Asking the community 'why' is not a petty complaint, it is a real desire to understand the reason. The reason may hep him (and people like me who would have benefitting from the answer) choose which home country address to use for the form as it wouldn't be 'ours' but used for certain purposes that we are unaware of. Do I use a family member or do I use a virtual office if it's simply for mail reasons? THis is a real question.. depending on how you choose to read into it.
Sorry Tony, his post was a complaint, not a question asking what he should put in the box. People ask what to put for questions that aren't applicable to them all the time. He just wanted to complain.
I also don't maintain an address in the US, but like most of the other questions on the visa and thaipass application, it doesn't matter what you put, just put anything.
It wasn't a question, it was a complaint. You're not happy with a question, you're not the first, you won't be the last.

David Mills just because a rule isn't explicitly stated, doesn't mean the post is useful. I'll go in and add a rule right now that says "just because" if it will help you though
start your own group and your own rules see how you go. You do not like the way it is run why stay. Looks like you could do much better so why not start your own group. Why complain about rules or decisions when you are free to leave
na you are offended very clear to see. You should start your own group with no rules no censorship as you like to call it and see how well it goes. i am tipping not very well
you are free to start your own group and run it how you see fit. If not happy with how the group is run you are free to leave. No guns pointed at your head
