ok not technically visa but visa related. I have some people coming here to work in BK and they just received Non B but have no wp? I thought the DOL and MFA both state that t apply for Non B you need to fill wp3 and get letter before applying for visa? So now they have a Non B do they fill wp1 or wp3 an can they do it outside thailand ( Germany

TLDR : Answer Summary
Individuals who have received a Non-B visa but do not yet hold a work permit should consult with their employer and the Ministry of Labour in Thailand. Typically, the process of applying for a Non-B visa requires them to have a work permit application submitted (WP3) before the visa application. Clarification with the Ministry on the next steps, like whether to submit a WP1 or WP3, is crucial, especially if they are still outside Thailand.

They need to be talking to their employer AND the Ministry of Labour.

And you're right it's not visa related.
