Hallo everyone

I posted a while ago regarding my 12 day trip, advice i got is i dont have enough time to do everything so here we go again...

7-28 May (20) days in Thailand 2 days traveling via Cape-town to Bangkok

I need advice on the best affordable (R350/700) (687 /1375 bath) pn at hotels/rooms for 2 just need aircon maybe breakfast

Places to visit and things to do what was the best for u and how much did it cost?

We love to explore, outdoors and high adrenaline rushes, not huge drinkers

We would like to do some beach holiday but thinking 5 days max as we live like 1km away from the beach and dont go much anyway (not big on sand and wind)

We currently have R20000 (39303.94 bath) +- to take for food, drinks and excursions

Places and things id love to do

Free diving not snorkeling

Gocarts rasing

Land of Angels Chiang Mai

Dinner cruise in Bangkok

Koh sok national park or something very similar if cheaper

Magic mountain camp

Al whaba crater

Waterside resort Bangkok

Hi Everyone,

I am looking into coming to Thailand to study (Thai Language) beginning the end of July, when a new semester starts. I'm still undecided on a school, but I notice each one has slightly different procedures for applying for an ED visa.

As an Australian, I am able to obtain a 3-month visa to start, but from there, the procedures start to differ, albeit slightly.

I also need to arrive before semester start to arrange a place to live.

Does anyone have their own experience with ED visas they can share, like the steps involved, places to live, local bank accounts, etc.?

If you need to know more from me, let me know too.

Thanks in advance.

Brad.

Hi!

Myself, my partner and our 2 year old want to move to Phuket, Thailand for 1 year. We want to learn Muay Thai and just live aboard and have a break from Australia and live off our savings.

Can anyone give me tips on how to go about staying there for that long and all the other bit and bobs we will need to sort out.

Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone i am planning to come to Koh Samui in march and now see you have to stay at a SHA extra plus hotel. My problem is I can’t find a list anywhere of these hotels. Do anyone know what hotels in Chaweng are SHA extra plus certified? Thank you

Hey all, had a few questions about the STV (I plan on staying 6-9 months):

1) If I'm fully vaccinated I know I qualify for the single night Test&Go. Does that apply for the STV or is there still a 7/14 day required quarantine?

2) Accommodation. I plan on renting a condo but would like to be able to see and choose my place in person. But the STV requires a fully paid stay...I would just book then cancel a hotel with Agoda, but (to my understanding) that won't work? Suggestions?

3) Does the Fly and Fit Certificate suffice for the health check?

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

On the VISA aplication, do I need to book, and write all hotels I will stay in Thailand, or just the first one?
