Looking for recommendations on hostels in Phuket, not too far from nice beaches/bangala road 😊 first time travelling here so some tips would be good before we book anything. Thanks!

hostel travellers are a certain breed that love the atmosphere of living with new strangers everywhere they go. It's super social and easy to make friends.

I despise hostels, but have friends who love them 😅

You might be surprised that there are many that stay in hostels that are just young people who are not hippies or backpackers. I have met people from many age groups who own companies or have good jobs and even entertainers.

I have stayed in many hostels in my travels around the world but Thailand is literally so cheap that it kind of doesn't make sense for me . I guess at 33 I'm an old man I don't want some smelly Hippie sleeping next to me 😆 lol
