Nt noticed any posts abut eVisa from UK? This site says from march [members only]/ but UK embassy says from April and that you till need to visit the embassy? Whats the point of an E Visa if you still have to go to embassy? So is it not just online application form nd not really an E Visa? [members only]

Summary so far

The user is inquiring about conflicting information regarding the eVisa for UK citizens traveling to Thailand. They note that one source mentions the eVisa will be available from March, while the UK embassy states it will be from April and requires a visit to the embassy. They question the effectiveness of an eVisa if it still necessitates an embassy visit.
