Yes, they make you pay another fee even if THEY were at fault, e.g an error in their translation/English. They refuse to communicate (Australian Thai Embassy).

Mine was a MEOA visa. Yes, I think both the pretty young thing at Suvarnabhumi Immigration and the senior officer at Chiang Rai Immigration might have given me the wrong information. It is a minefield of uncertainty and translation issues.

You need a re-entry permit to do that. Multiple Entry does not mean multiple entry the way Thais have translated it.

I had a Thai e-visa rejected in Australia because they asked for one middle NAME, not name(s), so I left off my second middle name. They said it did not match the name in my passport.
