I just received a visa rejection email from the Thai Embassy in Dhaka. I applied under the Workcation Visa category on June 22, and today, instead of moving forward from “Pending Document Check,” it went straight to Visa Rejected.
Not sure what I might have missed! But I can ensure you that all documents and the input on e visa portarl was correct and legit.
Here’s what I submitted:
✅ Bank statements and solvency certificate (with more than the required amount, over 6 months) with regular tranjactions.
✅ Employment confirmation letter and an LLC company report from my employer (I work with them via Upwork). Been working for that company for the last 3 years..
✅ Upwork income certificate for the last 12 months.
✅ Freelancer ID issued by the Bangladesh government.
✅ All other regular documents (residency proof, air ticket, hotel booking, etc.)
Do you think I should apply again? If yes, when would be the right time?
Any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated.
Would like to know one thing, I have applied for 2 months single entry Tourist Visa and today I got my passport with the Void stamp. What does that mean? I have a fresh passport and provide every documents they have asked. Initially I Submitted the documents as per the check list, after two days I asked to submit Additional ITR Which I don't have as I am working freelancer. Today I got my passport with Visa and a Void stamp on it.
My question is will it gonna be a negative mark on my passport or my future travel. Suggestions would be appreciated. As I was planning to come there to meet my partner.
Why not just let people talk about things? It is not going to bring about the end of the world (or the page) if someone talks about a work permit instead of a visa here. Many people here could have great advice to give. I think its kind of an a-hole move to lock off anything that is not specifically visa related is all.
