Thanks for everyone's comments. But for the negative comments about my son in law he's just succeeded in kicking out the government and the new village owners. They have left with their tails between their legs. Here's too justice hey ! Even in Thailand!!

Thank you! Yeah he knows he's got no legal rights but he can represent my wife. And he is thai . He's already had the government remove a electric mast that they installed. He's a smart man who knows about thai law more than me and my wife. Thanks for your support.

Answered this question many times. You simply take a thai resident with. With their house papers it is a very easy process. I've had a Bangkok bank account for many years without any problems
