Hi everyone hope you can help. Big confusion with my hotel booking now. On the government website it says all from uk must quarantine for 15 nights. But my hotel insists because I arrive before 6pm its 14 nights? I'm very confused. Who's right? Just want to be clear about this.

Both COE website and my hotel say 14 nights if your flight lands before 6:00pm, and 15 nights after. Same price though I think. Lol

 correct. Seems this hotel understands but many other hotels insist on 15 nights irrespective of arrival time.

The hotel won’t let you leave without the clearing documents. Trust what they are saying. It really is kinda like jail for a couple weeks.

 you will get a release document issued from goverment (you are not getting out till you get that ), for me that was on the 16th day at 6 30 am after doing 15 nights

 First night is first night even people who arrive at 1 in morning thats still the first night.

I think hotel is confused.

I never really worked it out until i arrived and then checked the dates.
