TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion provides various recommendations for affordable quarantine hotels in Bangkok, focusing on options for expats. Key suggestions include ASQ hotels, with costs ranging from 15,000 to 29,000 baht for different durations. Specific recommendations include Luxor, Royal Rattanakosin, and Princeton Hotel, along with advice to utilize Facebook groups and resources like Thaiest.com and Agoda for finding budget-friendly hotels. Stay home till it's safe. Thailand is safe, its what's being brought in that presents a problem
Asymptomatic is such a nebulous term.

im in belair hotel bangkok just off nana as we speak, cheapest price (my friend found..) saw a couple others around that near thonglor but this one is just fine room big enough for me, wifi not so great, i mentioned it they said they'd check but i got a thai sim from travels past. havent bothered again to try.
Great food selection for menu so far. I got a view on the pool right now on day 2, people walking around in circle during their hour within a clearly marked (by red tape) square. Hotel staff very responsive.

I do agree with you! Basically! But please keep in mind that then, you will be locked in a shitty room for (now 7 days, I think)! 23 hours per day! Who wants that? 🤔

Well at least you might get there . Pays to be a New Zealander if your living in Australia , you can work here , you dont need a travel exemption to leave this prison, as long as you have your ducks in a row for the host country on your travel list your free to leave Australia .
Americans can travel to over 90 countries including Thailand
Australian citizens locked up indefinitely , locked up to pay up
I totally agree with you. In the US, we have no countrywide policy to follow. California is masking, Texas no mask, New York masking, Florida no mask. If the US as a whole would have locked down back in January 2020, I'm sure that our present situation would be different.
Anantara Riverside very good, Food on Real Plate 2 Balcony and super Service in Big Rooms. Cheap is same go Jail.
Holiday Begin with ASQ so Not save on this. Cheap you no have Balcony, smal Room, lock Windows, Bad Internet, only Thai Tv and Food no taste come cold on Plastic Plates.
