TLDR : Answer Summary
In general, travelers have reported smooth experiences upon arriving in Thailand, provided they have all necessary paperwork in order. Many users noted that immigration and health controls were well-organized, and processing times were quick, typically under 30 minutes. However, some voices expressed concerns regarding rising Covid-19 cases and health measures, such as quarantine requirements. It's crucial for travelers to stay updated on regulations and ensure they have multiple copies of required documents.

I arrived back in Thailand in January. As long as you have all your paperwork, no problems, whatsoever.

I arrived yesterday. It took a couple of hours at the airport, which irritated me after travelling for 16 hours. I did worry before leaving. But everything is fine now. Make sure that you have multiple copies of everything. They were asking people where they were going to stay after the quarantaine hotel, and even wanted documents about your booking for that. That was the only difference at immigration compared to previous times. I told them that I was going to stay at a girlfriends condo, so I did not have documents of that, only the address, and that was enough for them.

If you are worried, it’s not the travelling that is the problem it is the increasing variant COVID in Bangkok that has the authorities so worried (and me) that they are planning to set up 10 field hospitals across Bangkok giving 3000 beds.

Last week the first plane with tourists from Germany arrived.
I’m on the special tourist visa, you can stay up to 9 months with extending every 3 months. Ends in October though. It was a breeze coming in, but I was there for a couple hours because it was peak time, around 11am. A bunch of flights came in all at the same time but they have chairs in order and washrooms close buy so it was nice ☺️ I’m still in quarantine, but so happy I came.

Have necessary documentation, patience, more money than clothes. If you have a newer notebook computer, don't bring the box it came in, you would probably be charged import tax on it. Real Thailand is to be found in smaller, less touristy cities and villages, but that is only my personal preference. Metered taxi out of the airport is safest for not getting ripped like a rookie. Night train north is lovely. BYO.
metered taxi out of the airport? When was the last time you visited? 😂

BKK is a well oiled machine. Very quick, very smooth, very organised.
Your posts indicate that you believe that quarantine is a problem and that you don't take COVID seriously.
Also, your poor grammar gave you away as a typical American idiot.
Take some college classes. Improve your grammar. Improve your understanding of science and the world.
You would think that someone that spends time in other countries would be more intelligent and worldly, but there are always exceptions (you are the exception).
please leave. Easy. Thailand is a military dictatorship when free speech is punished with jail, disappearance, a nation where the few rich keep the poor in perpetual poverty. It's a nation ruled by racist policies against its own people, and where money determines the value of a human life. I'm sure you'll enjoy living in that system better than the USA.
very happy with there policies my in laws in Thailand have been safe. Unlike my parents who had to deal with western policies and unfortunately that resulted in my father passing away.
I have done quarantine twice now and happy to do again if required.

And what is your alternative? USA, South Africa, India, Europe, UK, I think Asia is the safest continent over the last 12 months.
Maybe just maybe it's a serious problem worldwide and Thailand is handling it better.
buddy you are obnoxious, arrogant and very simple minded. If you cured cancer, rescued puppies from being eaten and donated both kidneys to total strangers, my opinion of you would not change. Enjoy your day and good luck with applying for sainthood
You really are a poor pathetic person, on the plus side I am enjoying laughing at you

I flew from Manchester 🇬🇧 via Dubai. Was absolutely fine. As per other answers, just make sure you have all the required paperwork.
Safe travels ✈️ 😊

I had no difficulties or delays whatsoever.
I was one of the first off the aircraft in Bangkok and was through immigration, health control, etc. and in a taxi in less than 20 minutes.

As Hans has said. Just relax

There will be an official news later today about what will happen at Bangkok due to the upsurge of Cov cases
Assuming you have all your paperwork done well, and carry a couple of paper copies of everything, it is all very smooth. I arrived yesterday and it was all very thorough, well organized and easy. The ATM’s directly after passport control are functioning.

Not at all.. The process of getting through the airport is a breeze, assuming you've got all your documents in order.
