When you enter on a non imm o visa, that is valid to stay in Thailand for 90 days
@Mi**
, then after 60 days you can ask for this extension (1,900฿). If you have an Non imm OA visa you can stay for a year and go out and in the country as many times as you want. 90 days report still needed ! Every time you enter Thailand, you get another year. So if you leave and come back just before y'r visa expires (the sticker), you get a full year. Watch out, this extra year is NOT multi entry. To keep that year alive (also regular year extensions), you can buy a single or multi re-entry permit

@Mick ******
, After the VISA is void, then you can ask for a year extension e.g. based on retirement. Indeed you have to go through the procedure every year and yes, you have to notify imm. every 90 days, which also can be done online

Mmm
@Br***
, tricky I guess. I also would not be at ease. I think you better ask in the more experienced group like :

Hi
@T**
. Sorry, but still one question for me remains. Can those VOA people ask for an extension, which is denied ofcourse, but then still get the "7 days to leave the country" stamp ? Thx !

And normaly you don't get the covid extension before the regular one of 30 days.

What bank you have in Thailand
@Ho***
? With my app of Kasikorn and Bangkokbank as well, there is an option to send money abroad. I used it once to the Netherlands, and the money was in my Dutch bank account after about 10 hours. Don't know if there are special things needed for sending to the US/Credit Union.
