I am from the US and marrying a woman from Hua Hin. I want to have her visit the states and possibly stay for an extended visit. What are my visa options. How long does it usually take to get visa?

Reverse question for resources. I work in the USA 5 months a year, live with my 44 year old Thai Girlfriend the remainder of the year in her Village with Family. DON'T WANT TO BE AWAY FROM HER WHILE IN USA. Applying for Finance Visa, but wait times to long. SHE Can show significant land holdings, income, house lease, new car in her name, for Tourist Visa. She has absolutely NO interest of remaining in the USA. Thanks in advance for the LEGITIMATE answers. Sad for those who won't post questions because of the vile humans that often give their 2 cents and hide behind their screens and post mean spirited responses they are to COWARDLY to say to your face (sad to I feel a need to say this given how often the hate occurs). Yes and spent hours on Google and Youtube looking for answers.

UK Citizen living in Canada. Just had my visa denied due to not living in the UK?

Is there something I’ve done wrong and how do I fix this?

I’ll be travelling and will leave Seoul for Bangkok.

Samut Prakan office 9 am this morning. Not very busy in part because they were turning away quite a few (for covid extensions). Before some negotiating with my wife they were also denying mine. At first, an officer told me because I had 3 extensions already, then he went on to tell my wife that my (U.S.) embassy says it's ok to travel home, therefore no extension. (personally saw them deny 2 from the Philippines and 1 Canadian with the same story)

Hello Everyone,

I have a question about my situation. I am a US citizen and am not working in Thailand. I have a fiancé (we are getting married next year in the US) who is teaching English here. I worked as an Engineer in the US, saved up money before coming, and am, in fact, purely a tourist. I am spending my time taking photographs, exploring the country, and planning my future when I get back to the US. I have no source of income. My fiancé’s salary and my savings support our lives here.

Currently we are on a two-week trip to Cambodia. I am attempting to get a SETV from Phnom Penh, but it appears that many are “VOID WITHOUT PREJUDICE” at this embassy, and they don’t do interviews. I supplied all required documents and am crossing my fingers. This situation is in motion and can’t be helped. This will be my 4th SETV. The others were obtained in the US, Penang, and Vientiane. We have been in Thailand since mid-September 2018 (6 months).

My question is: how much information can/should I divulge if I am granted an interview (or for future applications)? If I explain the entire situation with my fiancé, will that help convince them that I am not working? Or should I say that I am traveling and leave my fiancé out of it altogether? She has a Non-Immigrant B and a Work Permit.

Or should I be using a different Visa? I am not retired, am not working, am not married. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!

It's no secret that the thai consulate in Phnom Penh is hit or miss at the best of times and down right hard to work with at the worst of them

BUT

I've NEVER seen someone turn in their application for a tourist visa, meet all 3 of the 'proof-ofz", pay the $40USD. However when the went back to get their passport they found out the visa was put into their passport BUT was stamped Void Without Prejudice..

This person did not have a passport full if tourist visas from other consulates either..

Anyone thinkin' to go to the thai consulate in Phnom Penh, be warned, this could happen to you. I'm NOT saying it will but I've not see any other consulate due this (other than the thai consulates in India for indian nationals)..
