Hi, I hope this message is accepted as visa related.
I see on the Dutch Thai Embassy website that now, in Covid times, I need the 40k/400k health insurance on a re-permit on a year extension based on a non imm O. Both Retirement, to come back to Thailand.
As you know, this insurance is not required when asking a year extension based on a non imm O visa.
Question is; when coming back, do I need this insurance for the rest of my year extension so until expiring date, or only for a month or so. Or will I only stamped in for the time this insurance is valid.
Thanks !

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about health insurance requirements for a Non-Immigrant O visa extension when returning to Thailand during COVID-19, specifically regarding the 40k/400k health insurance needed for re-entry permits. Comments clarify that the health insurance must cover the duration of the entry stamp upon returning, and it relates to the Certificate of Entry rather than the visa type.
, In this case I mean both insurances. So also the 'famous'

k฿. Do I need both to have at entrance of Thailand for the whole period of stay. In my case the rest of my year extension which will be about 7 months.
There are two health insurances required: The COVID-19 insurance that everyone is required to have, and health insurance. I believe the question is asking about the COVID-19 insurance.
