Hi all, a question popped up in my mind. What things you all should arrange when you move to another province. Some visa related and some not really. Sorry for that but it's the whole package you have to deal with.
1. A year extension (retired) keeps valid I think. (former visa non imm o single entry)
2. Within 24 hours TM 30 and/or TM28 to the new immigation office or police. (if not in a hotel)
3. 90 day notification stays valid until next one to do in new immigation office or police ?
4. Do you need something to do in the 'old'/former immigration office ?
Did I forget something ?
Only related to the move
5. Drivers license still valid I guess ? 'old' address
is on the back.
6. A 'yellow housebook' looses its validity I guess ?
7. Pink ID Card also ? (mine is 'for life' it says)
8. Better to change address from your Thai bank(s)
( And ofcourse out of Thailand , your own country
address change bank, pensionfund, government businesses etc.)
Again, sorry for the 'non visa stuff'.
Thanks !!
TLDR : Answer Summary
When moving to another province in Thailand, several arrangements are necessary, encompassing both visa-related matters and personal updates. Important steps include ensuring your visa extension remains valid, submitting TM30 and TM28 notifications to the new immigration office or police, and understanding the process of the 90-day notification. The driver's license remains valid despite the address change, but the yellow housebook may lose its validity, and it's advisable to inform banks and other institutions of your new address.
