 ok he maybe right if you only spend 6 months inside Thailand. But METV is a Multi Entry Tourist Visa and

you'll have 60 days then extend 30 days for ฿1,900, leave Thailand which is something you don't want. Its hard.

 ok to answer your question its the first 60 day travel date. Yes you can extend and use an onward travel site to book a flight for the METV. But why not apply for a married Visa or a retirement visa Paul?
